Robert Richman - A blog affair: ""Fear is excitement about something we have judged as harmful to us."
Afraid to quit your job and start a business? It's because your mind took something that's very exciting to you, and told you all the reasons you might starve and die and if you do this. Afraid to ask out that girl? You're excited at the notion, but your mind has convinced you that the rejection could be completely devastating.
Let me give you the most base example. My mother does not have a fear about skydiving. But the reason is not courage. T"

AharonMoshe's Channel - YouTube: " poetry on parade here on Youtube. I teach it with no pressure or homework, testing or requirement. I am trying to spread what I do to other teachers. This little boy is amazing. My students learn as a group and then do individual poems later. His cadence, inflection and joy, though, is generally way more powerful than what my 8 year olds do."

The Seagull By Anton Checkhov Live Performance Central Park Saturday August 18, 2001 Part 2 By: Stephen C. Sanders.
The Seagull By Anton Checkhov Live Performance Central Park Saturday August 18, 2001 Part 2 By: Stephen C. Sanders.: "Every character must bring their motivation with them, up there on the stage ! The character's motivation is not lying in some ink splattered on a page. It is clearly up to the actors to bring the play to life. How to show this onstage ? Nobody ever said acting is easy, that is why the character of Konstantin is so difficult to play. One could only hope, that the actors, and directors could somehow improve this scene, so that we could understand the message that the author (Amnton Chekhov) was trying to convey.
The play is about to have Konstantin’s rival Trigorin walk on stage. This is an important beat in Anton Chekhov’s play. As I remember its on-stage delivery, and read the play I woder if it could have been staged better."
