Social Tropism: How to Get Your Teen Out of Bed for School: "How to Get Your Teen Out of Bed for School: "Teenagers like to sleep late and if you have a defiant teen, it may become a daily chore to get him out of bed. Let’s take for example, a child who has to be to school at eight o’clock in the morning. You go to his room and wake him up at seven. Then you go back a couple of minutes later and wake him up again, and then again, and again.
You do whatever you can to get him out of bed. You may even have to drag him out of bed. Now your teen may curse at you, or maybe he does not even curse, but you just cannot get him out of bed.""

Chanukah draws its power from a place far beyond our conception, infusing us with such great hope, despite our inability to see the “light at the end of the tunnel.” This gives us a point of faith from which to draw, infusing us with a spirit of life. The Seagull
The Seagull: "Chekhov does not come close to writing melodrama. Indeed, the central tragedy is that--despite how the events of the play affect the characters--life in general goes on.
Unrequited love exists, but those who are unfulfilled in love get on with the one with whom they find themselves. Dreams are shattered, but they still play Lotto. Even the final scene--in which Kostya commits suicide--does not have a full dramatic force. A minor character enters and whispers the news to Trigorin. And, they dispose of the body before Kostya's mother even sees it."

Traffik: "she weighed me. “We don’t want any extra weight!” she smiled and I thought about emptying my pockets because I knew my cellphone, my over-keyed key ring, and my wallet stuffed with receipts weighed much more than my book but I kept quiet assuming she expected this weight in somebody’s pockets.
When the doc showed up in my room, he had a haircut that looked like he moonlighted as a synth player in some German band from the 80s. It was brushed to the side and hung too long on his face for somebody his age, let alone a doc. He also had a Dr. Strangelove smile every time he asked me questions. He was nice enough and didn’t push Jesus on me. He must let his nurses decorate his waiting room."

Robert Richman - A blog affair: ""Fear is excitement about something we have judged as harmful to us."
Afraid to quit your job and start a business? It's because your mind took something that's very exciting to you, and told you all the reasons you might starve and die and if you do this. Afraid to ask out that girl? You're excited at the notion, but your mind has convinced you that the rejection could be completely devastating.
Let me give you the most base example. My mother does not have a fear about skydiving. But the reason is not courage. T"

The Seagull By Anton Checkhov Live Performance Central Park Saturday August 18, 2001 Part 2 By: Stephen C. Sanders.: "Every character must bring their motivation with them, up there on the stage ! The character's motivation is not lying in some ink splattered on a page. It is clearly up to the actors to bring the play to life. How to show this onstage ? Nobody ever said acting is easy, that is why the character of Konstantin is so difficult to play. One could only hope, that the actors, and directors could somehow improve this scene, so that we could understand the message that the author (Amnton Chekhov) was trying to convey.
The play is about to have Konstantin’s rival Trigorin walk on stage. This is an important beat in Anton Chekhov’s play. As I remember its on-stage delivery, and read the play I woder if it could have been staged better."

Marketing Backlinks
Marketing Backlinks: "one key point in getting ranking with the major search engines such as Google. There are a number of factors Google uses when it ranks a site and one key thing is how many sites are linked to it. Also what type of links and if they are from a variety of sources.
One thing you do need to realize that doing backlinking is not an exact science and there are other factors that will effect your ranking.
The other things Google look at is how fresh is the content on the site. They seem to prefer sites with a video on the front page."

Ben Stein: "Arab Spring" is a fraud - CBS Sunday Morning - CBS News: "Has anyone noticed that the common denominator of all the successful Arab street movements is that they are sympathetic to Iran? When the dust settles, Iran is going to own the Middle East - except for maybe Saudi Arabia, if we have the guts to help them (which I very much doubt).
We are going to lose our pals in Bahrain - not nice guys, but pals of the U.S.A. anyway - and we are going to lose our pals in Yemen, and it will possibly have an actual al Qaeda government."

Liar Liar! My Teen Daughter Is a Chronic Liar! | Momtourage: "So, this afternoon I did what all the websites (and my mother) advise to do with a lying teen: I confronted her immediately with the facts: the letter from school, etc…. Predictably she spun a yarn about how she thinks there’s been a quote “mix up” and the P.E. teacher has her confused with someone else. She laughed it off with a sort of “these things happen” attitude. (I told you she’s good.) When that failed to work I asked her why she feels so compelled to lie. She claimed the usual - she’s afraid she’ll get in trouble. However, she’s in much deeper hot water for lying than she is for the original infraction. "

Get Ready to Live a Life Without Regret | Owning Pink
Get Ready to Live a Life Without Regret | Owning Pink: "Get Comfortable with Solitude. To get clarity on your dreams and to move through your fear, spend some time with yourself. Quiet your mind and you will hear what your heart is longing for and what the world needs of you. You will also find courage here. Comfort with solitude also helps when you come across the nay-sayers, on whom you will have to turn your back. Following your dreams can be lonely. But you will find like-minded people along the way.
